During his educational and entertaining tour, the superhero Beepster visited the elementary school “Safet beg Basagic” in Visoko. The mission of this superhero is to teach the youngest generation about the importance of the smart use of energy in an educational and imaginative way. Beepster talked to the students about the entire process of global warming, as well as its consequences for our planet. This superhero from another planet conveyed to the students of the “Safet beg Bašagić” elementary school a true, but often forgotten, the message that planet Earth is their only home, a home that suffers from the consequences of irresponsible energy consumption.

With the help of a thermal imaging camera, Beepster showed students the amount of unnecessarily consumed energy by devices that are connected to the power source, while they are in standby mode. With the help of Beepomat, he showed them the difference between energy-efficient and inefficient behaviour.

“I’m glad to see that the children were able to differentiate between efficient and ineffective behaviour in a short time. I think I have already found my new helpers, little heroes, who are ready to take part in changing their daily habits and save the cities they live in, and thus the entire planet,” said Beepster.

The students were also shown an animated film about climate change on Earth and ways to use energy wisely.

In the primary school “Safet beg Bašagić” in Visoko, thanks to the BEEP AF project, energy efficiency measures such as thermal insulation of facade walls were implemented; thermal insulation of the ceiling; replacement of part of the existing carpentry and/or locksmithing; partial replacement of lighting fixtures; improvement of the central heating system; installation of pellet boilers; installation of dynamic thermostatic valves; replacement of asbestos cover; installation of equipment for measuring energy consumption; and installation of temperature and humidity monitoring equipment.

The area covered by the project is 2,740 m2, and the amount of the investment was 469,385.78 BAM.

The visit of the superhero is the result of the activities of the Energy Efficiency Project for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BEEP), which is implemented by the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning with World Bank loans, and demonstrated the importance of educating the youngest for the future of our planet.

The students of the elementary school “Kulin Ban” in Visoko were visited by the superhero Beepster from another planet to warn them that the planet Earth is in great danger. He came to our world with the mission of saving the Earth and educating students about energy-efficient behaviour. He used this opportunity to remind children about the importance of intelligent energy use.

“Every time one of you leaves the light on during the day or leaves the charger plugged in without charging your cell phone or tablet, energy is consumed, and in order to produce it, a large amount of carbon dioxide had to be created somewhere and that directly affects climate change. Have you ever thought about it? Please do not leave the water running while brushing your teeth. Use energy-saving light bulbs, and plant a tree. You can become heroes and change the world by your behavior.” added the Beepster.

He presented his equipment with which he saves the Earth to the students of the sixth grade. This is how these future Beepster helpers saw how the Beepomat, a device that exhibits energy-efficient behaviours, works. In addition, Beepster presented the children with a superthermal imaging camera, which shows how much energy is lost when the device is connected to electricity, during standby mode.

The area covered by the project is 3,007.74 m2, and the amount of the investment was 640,828.53 BAM.

The superhero Beepster left the elementary school “Kulin ban” in Visoko, satisfied with the fact that he received reinforcements in his not-so-simple mission.

The superhero Beepster found his allies in the preservation of our planet in the students of the “Mula Mustafa Baseskija” elementary school in Visoko. Namely, with the aim of saving the Planet and educating the youngest about the importance of energy-efficient behaviour, the superhero Beepster visited this elementary school where he reminded the students in an educational and entertaining way about the importance of smart energy use.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) allows the atmosphere to retain part of the solar radiation and heat, thus preventing the cooling of the Earth and the radiation of heat into space. Due to the excessive burning of fossil fuels, which are used to obtain energy, too much carbon dioxide is released, which leads to global warming.

“Your planet is suffering!” – said the Beepster, and called on the students, little heroes, to save it from global warming, which significantly affects the future of the Earth and its inhabitants. The schoolchildren took their task seriously and promised Beepster that they would help him in his mission.

“It is necessary to make children aware and educated about the importance of preserving a healthy environment in time so that the understanding of issues of environmental protection and energy efficiency takes its place in society.” – said the Beepster.

The area covered by the project is 2,378 m2, and the amount of the investment was 449,503.81 BAM.

The superhero Beepster left the elementary school “Mula Mustafa Bašeskija” in Visoko, satisfied with the work done, and headed for the next destination.

With the aim of saving our planet with the help of the youngest, the superhero Beepster visited the elementary school “Rešad Kadić” in Kakanj and educated the students of this school about the importance of energy-efficient behaviour.

In an educational and fun way, the sixth-grade students of this school learned about the importance of smart use of energy. Global warming, its consequences for our planet, and the ways in which we can save the Planet were just some of the topics that Beepster discussed with the schoolchildren.

“It’s five to twelve. We have to help our Planet. We have to save rivers, forests and all other green areas of the planet Earth!” said the Beepster, who shared tips for smarter energy use, in order to reach this goal together. “Don’t leave the water running while brushing your teeth or washing. Turn off the light after leaving the room, and do not waste energy unnecessarily. And don’t forget, we have to turn off electronic devices and not leave them on standby,” added this superhero.

At the primary school “Rešad Kadić” in Kakanj, thanks to the BEEP AF project, energy efficiency measures such as thermal insulation of facade walls were implemented; replacement of existing carpentry and/or locksmithing; thermal insulation of the ceiling above the heated space; thermal insulation of the roof; replacement of asbestos cover; installation of a thermal energy meter; partial replacement of lighting fixtures; installation of equipment for measuring energy consumption, and construction of equipment for monitoring temperature and humidity. The area covered by the project is 1,626.90 m2, and the amount of the investment was 238,940.36 BAM.
