Energy efficiency measures implied thermal insulation of facade walls, replacement of old windows with new ones, the thermal insulation of the ceiling towards the attic and the substructure of the interposed structure above the blackened cellar, repair of the roof covering at the central part of the clinic, and a side block, as well as repair of flat roofs on the central part of the building.

 

 

” So far, as a result of successful cooperation with the Government of Sarajevo Canton, a total of 5 public buildings have been renovated in this canton, with an investment of 3.3 million KM only in works. We plan to renew the additional three facilities in this canton in 2018, with an investment of almost 1 million KM, on which we work intensively,” said Federal Minister of Physical Planning, Josip Martic, at a ceremony held on that occasion.

 

Saying that this is the largest energy efficiency project in BiH (BEEP), by the Government of the Federation BiH, emphasized that over the past two and a half years, 33 public facilities have been restored throughout the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Ministry of Physical Planning invested more than 19 million BAM.

 

 

The implemented energy efficiency measures will reduce the need for an energy facility, which will ultimately result in lower maintenance costs and higher financial savings, said Mustafa Čopelj, head of the Bosnia Energy Efficiency Project for the Federation of BiH.

 

Director of KCUS, Sebi Izetbegović expressed great satisfaction with the work done, given that the facility for Neurology and Psychiatry Clinic is over 100 years old and that since its inception only two were renovated adding: “I am pleased that the employees and users of the restoration clinic have much better conditions for work and stay, and the audit has also estimated that the annual energy savings savings will be around 180,000 BAM.”

 

 

In addition to representatives of the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning, KCUS, World Bank, the importance of the Sarajevo Canton Government, as well as Mr. Adnan Efendić, the first chairman of the project management board and other members of the Project Management Board without whom the project could not be implemented.

 

 

During the three years of this project by the Government of the Federation of BiH, which is financed by the World Bank funds, and being implemented within the Ministry of Physical Planning, many benefits have been achieved, through energy savings, increasing comfort and quality stay for more than 220,000 users, reducing CO2 emissions, reducing CO2 emissions and create new jobs, which shows the importance of energy efficiency for bh. society.

Over the last few years there has been much talk of global warming. It is a real problem that is present because of the increasing use of energy sources and the unlimited application of technology in all spheres of life. In the framework of “Bosnia Energy Efficiency project”, superhero Beepster visits elementary schools across the Federation of BiH to get closer to the youngest population and taught them why large changes in time or the extinction of the plant and animal world are taking place.

 

 

This time, Beepster visited students in elementary schools “Ivan Gundulić”, “VI elementary school” and “Antun Branko Šimić” in Mostar, and briefly interrupted regular classes in order to convey an important message. “Your planet Earth is in great danger,” warned Beepster.

 

 

His mission to the planet Earth is that through an educational and entertainment workshop, students explain that combustion of fossil fuels gets energy and releases carbon dioxide (CO2).

 

It allows the atmosphere to retain part of the sun’s radiation and heat, thus preventing the cooling of the Earth. However, large consumption of fossil fuels in everyday life generates too much of this gas. This is why global warming is taking place that significantly affects climate change on Earth.

 

” You do not want floods, droughts, and the world without forests” – said Beepster, and shared tips for smarter use of energy to save Earth together. “Do not leave the water running while brushing. Use a fan instead of an air conditioner. With your behavior you can become heroes and change the world. ”

 

At Beepster’s workshops, the students had the opportunity to take a look at the animated film about climate change and to check their knowledge of energy efficiency. Beepster also introduced Beepomat, a device that easily illustrates how irrational use of energy from fossil fuels leads to global warming.

 

 

The schoolchildren were impressed, and they promised to Beepster that they will start applying his simple tips right away.

 

After being convinced he found his new helper, little heroes, ready to take part in changing everyday habits and save the cities they live in, and the whole planet, Beepster, continued his journey.

People on Earth need energy for everyday life. It uses a lot of energy, even those we do not need, from sources that can not be renewed, such as oil and coal. Fabrics, automobiles, the warmth of our home, mostly result from the burning of these kinds of energy. Regular classes in elementary school “Cazin 1” in Cazin and “Jajce” Kruščica in Jajce interrupted the sudden visit of the Beepster super hero, who came from another planet to warn students to this problem and conveyed an important message: “Your planet Earth is in great danger,” warned Beepster.

In addition to knowledge and advice on energy efficiency, Beepster has distributed educational brochures to the students with tips to follow if they want to become heroes and save planet Earth. Along with the brochures, he also handed the gift to watches that will remind them every day that it is time to help the Earth for a better future for all of us, primarily children and young people, where the world remains.

 

In the framework of “Bosnia Energy Efficiency Project” – BEEP, Superhero Beepster visited schoolchildren in the Tuzla region in elementary schools “First Primary School”, Živinice, “First Primary School”, Srebrenik and “Hasan Kikić”, Gračanica and advised them in a fun and creative manner about smarter use of energy and the importance of energy efficiency for the future of all of us, especially children and young people, where the world remains.

 

On this occasion, the animated “Beepster” movie was presented to the students, in which the Brrpster acquainted with the consequences of energy ineffective behavior which leads to global warming – the greatest enemy of the planet Earth.
