
Representatives of General Hospital Tešanj officially celebrated the completed implementation of energy efficient measures in the framework of BEEP (Bosnia Energy Efficiency Project). Project was carried out under the sponsorship of Federal Ministry of Physical Planning, and funded by the World Bank. Value of this investment was 718 thousand BAM, and estimated yearly energy savings are 167 thousand BAM.

Opening ceremony of the reconstructed hospital in Tešanj, amongst others, attended the vice president of FB&H Melika Mahmutbegović, Federal Minister of Physical Planning Josip Martić, Prime minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Government, Miralem Galijašević, Minister of Health Zenica-Doboj Canton Dragoljub Brenjo, as well as representatives of project implementation unit.
Activities of BEEP project involved implementation of energy efficient measures on five schools and one health public facility, General Hospital in Tešanj. His personal satisfaction with this successful finished project of hospital reconstruction expressed also Federal Minister of Physical Planning Josip Martić.

BEEP is the largest energy efficient project in BiH which has been carried out on education and health public facilities, with the help of the World Bank. The project has been implemented in period of years 2015. to 2018. with the goal to represent benefits of sustainable energy efficiency.
