In the framework of “Bosnia Energy Efficiency Project” – BEEP, Superhero Beepster visited schoolchildren in the Tuzla region in elementary schools “First Primary School”, Živinice, “First Primary School”, Srebrenik and “Hasan Kikić”, Gračanica and advised them in a fun and creative manner about smarter use of energy and the importance of energy efficiency for the future of all of us, especially children and young people, where the world remains.
On this occasion, the animated “Beepster” movie was presented to the students, in which the Brrpster acquainted with the consequences of energy ineffective behavior which leads to global warming – the greatest enemy of the planet Earth.
“By generating fossil fuels it gets energy, but also releases carbon dioxide (CO2). It allows the atmosphere to retain part of the sun’s radiation and heat, thus preventing the cooling of the Earth and exacerbating heat in the universe. However, large consumption of fossil fuels in everyday life generates too much of this gas. This is why global warming is taking place that significantly affects climate change on Earth,” said Beepster, and shared tips for smarter use of energy to save Earth together. “Do not let the water run while you’re brushing your teeth. Use energy-saving bulbs, plant wood. With your behavior you can become heroes and change the world!”
Beepster also introduced Beepomat, a device that easily illustrates how irrational use of energy from fossil fuels leads to global warming.
After many useful tips and information on the importance of energy efficiency and the consequences of global warming, socializing and fun, Beepster shared the lessons with students who would remind them every day that it was time to help the planet Earth and continue their journey.
