Within the framework of BEEP (Bosnia Energy Efficient Project), implementation of energy efficiency measures was officially finished with the ceremonial placing of the school plaque. Amongst others, ceremony was attended by Nevenko Herceg, President of Government Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Smiljan Vidić, Čapljina Municipality Mayor Ivan Topić, representative of Federal Minister of Physical Planning, representatives of Project Implementation Unit and Željka Previšić, Principal of High School Čapljina.

During the ceremony, President of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Government, Nevenko Herceg handed the certificate of energy efficiency to Principal Željka Previšić and said in his speech: “Successful realization of project first faze, additionally strengthened our intent to continue with our activities and direct them to improve public facilities infrastructure. We are expecting to sign new contracts for energy efficiency projects in public buildings in Hercegovina-Neretva Canton.”

With energy efficient reconstruction of the high school in Čapljina, comfortable working atmosphere was achieved for students and teachers, and the potential for significant cost savings of electricity and heating was also achieved. 996 thousand BAM was invested in school reconstruction, and amount of expected energy savings were calculated around 185 thousand BAM.

Representatives of General Hospital Tešanj officially celebrated the completed implementation of energy efficient measures in the framework of BEEP (Bosnia Energy Efficiency Project). Project was carried out under the sponsorship of Federal Ministry of Physical Planning, and funded by the World Bank. Value of this investment was 718 thousand BAM, and estimated yearly energy savings are 167 thousand BAM.

Opening ceremony of the reconstructed hospital in Tešanj, amongst others, attended the vice president of FB&H Melika Mahmutbegović, Federal Minister of Physical Planning Josip Martić, Prime minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Government, Miralem Galijašević, Minister of Health Zenica-Doboj Canton Dragoljub Brenjo, as well as representatives of project implementation unit.

Activities of BEEP project involved implementation of energy efficient measures on five schools and one health public facility, General Hospital in Tešanj. His personal satisfaction with this successful finished project of hospital reconstruction expressed also Federal Minister of Physical Planning Josip Martić.

BEEP is the largest energy efficient project in BiH which has been carried out on education and health public facilities, with the help of the World Bank. The project has been implemented in period of years 2015. to 2018. with the goal to represent benefits of sustainable energy efficiency.

In the framework of BEEP project to celebrate World Energy efficient Day, imaginary air company Air Future in Sarajevo City Centar has been created. Through resolving quiz questions all visitors had the opportunity to evaluate their knowledge about smart usage of energy. Based on result of the quiz, citizens gain their insight, in which scale of their energy efficient behaviour, reflects on future of natural BH environment, and they realised that natural disasters are unfortunately very possible.

All those individuals who recognized adequate energy efficient behaviour, company Air Future enable visiting tourist destination to preserved natural richness in future, without ecological disasters. Those individuals who didn’t recognised energy efficient behaviours, gain insight into the future of ruined natural environment.

Campaign primary goal is to abet all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to ask themselves, what they can do for their community, and which energy efficient behaviour can apply. All citizens should have an opportunity to witness preserved natural environmental beauties in country in near future, not to witness everyday abundantly precipitation and drought.

One of goals of campaign Air Future is to show public benefits of energy efficiency, as well as direct benefit of smart usage of energy, as well as show pictures of future who expects every individuals, if he or she wastes energy.

Prices are maybe high but its not.
